Do you leave your belongings at a cafe and go to the rest room?

Q. Do you leave your belongings at a cafe and go to the rest room? A. No, it's not me. I don't leave any important things and go to a toliet. I thinke some people do that but it varies from person to person. For example, I leave my laptop when I go to order my drink or get a drink. At that time, I can look at my laptop even if I'm somewhere else. But the rest room is different. I can't see my belongings. I rarely put it on the table and go to a toliet. Maybe I could leave my two year old cell phone, but I always carry around my new expensive cell phone. Of course, many people say that Korean cafes are safe, but I recommend you to take your belongings with you. There is a saying that opportunity makes the thief which means that you want to have something when you see it. I don't wan to risk losing things at a cafe even if it's less likely.

full form vs contraction in Korean

Just like full form and contraction in English, Korean is similar. However there are many grammar particles in Korean, so there are more variety and complexity. The most important rule should be that the syllable in front of the marker does not end in a consonant. For example, if '저는' is shortened, it becomes '전'. Because there is no last consonant in the preceding syllable, so the following syllable can be shortened in the last consonant. pronoun + subject marker 저는 I am -> 전 I'm 나는 I am -> 난 I'm 너는 You are -> 넌 You're 그는 He is -> 근(X) He's 그것이 It is -> 그게 It's pronoun + object marker 저를 I/me -> 절 I/me 나를 I/me -> 날 I/me 너를 you -> 널 you 그를 him -> 글 (X) him 그것을 it -> 그걸 it Of course there are some exceptions. In the case of '그는' which measn 'he is', it does not diminish to '근'. Always write in full form. There are several cases where the form is completely changed. In case of the abbreviation for '그것이' is '그게'. In Korean, most abbreviations are used when speaking. Use full form only when presenting or writing. Therefore, you need to get used to using abbrevations to use Korean naturally.
