Unbreakable Kimmy's line

I'm watching a sitcom called Unbreakable Kimmy these days. Kimmy, the main character in the sitcom, is working hard in everything. Dong is a person she likes and is an illegal resident. He married another woman to obtain citizenship. Even after his marriage, Kimmy puts her work aside and helps him devotedly. Her friend, who was watching her, gives her this advice. "The sooner you quit something that stinks, the sooner you can find something that doesn't. Save your hope for that." This advice touched my heart. Who am I living for these days? I don't think I live for myself. I'm not even sure what I like or what I want to do. It seems to be my pleasure to please others. I actually don't know what I'm happy about. And what I do for myself doesn't make me very happy. I should get out of my familiar pit as soon as possible. That way, I think I can fine a different joy. Until then, I'll hold it in even if it's boring, right?
